Privacy & Data Usage Policies of the Widget
Data Usage Policy
By giving your own website access to your Google Analytics account, the Analytics 7 Widget will make the necessary API calls and queries from within your browser, in order retrieve your website's Google Analytics data.
The Analytics 7 Widget purely functions as an interface between you, your website and your Google Analytics account. The widget does not send or store information to Analytics7.com servers or any other server. In other words, Analytics 7 does not access your Google Analytics data in any way.
When you login through the Analytics 7 Widget, you are connecting directly to Google Analytics (AuthSub). Your username and password is never seen by Analytics 7 or any other site.
Ad serving (only when using the Widget)
For the free version of the Widget, a Google Adsense banner is shown at the bottom of the widget when activated. This banner will only be visible to the webmaster who has authorization for the Google Analytics profile for his/her website, and when the widget is activated. There will be no ads shown whatsoever to normal visitors of the website.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the advertising opt-out page.
Usage information for licensing purposes
Because the Analytics 7 Widget license is based on the number of pageviews your website generates, a very small sample of your website visits periodically report usage to the Analytics7.com server. This happens by means of a hidden pixel request containing only the url of your domain, and nothing else.
We do not record what pages were visited, nor any actual Google analytics web traffic data.
